We are looking to recruit a Welfare Rights Advisor
Hours: 10 hours per week
Salary: £20 per hour
Terms: Funded for 12 months.
The purpose of the post would be to support people using Swansea Foodbank to maximise their income and build their capacity and resilience. The post holder would engage with clients to support them to access their full financial entitlements and a more secure financial future through providing welfare rights assessment and advice and following up with phone calls and research where necessary. The post holder would need to be fully trained and experienced in working in an advice setting and be able to demonstrate current knowledge of the benefits systems.
